The Rotary Club of Dartmouth’s annual fundraiser “The Spring Classic” was held on June 13th at the Brightwood Golf & Country Club and by all measures it was a success. Approximately 135 people attended the gala evening. There was a lot to do, see and hear, including the stylings of the Dartmouth School Jazz Band, silent & live auctions, balloon pops, and many, many draw prizes.
The major draw prize of the evening was two tickets to any WestJet destination plus $5000. The lucky winner was Robert Earle.
The evening also saw Rotary’s highest award given to two individuals who have consistently donated their time and talents in running the Spring Classic. Jamie Patterson, the event MC, and Allan MacDonald, the event auditor, each received a Paul Harris Fellowship Award for their many years of unwavering service to our Rotary Club. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts - well done
And, thank you to our many ongoing Sponsors, who donated the fabulous prizes for the event, and to all those who purchased Spring Classic tickets. Your support made the evening a success and will provide the resources for Rotary to help people in need in our community and beyond.
